AM5 Motherboards with ECC support

I’m looking to do a substantial system build with a new CPU/MB/RAM. I mostly do light office stuff, but also occasional software development and light gaming. I’m currently looking at a 8-core AM5 system, probably without X3D.
I’d like to be able to get ECC support. Is there a good way of finding compatible motherboards?
PCPartPicker is basically useless - even if I select an Epyc 4344P processor it won’t provide me a list of motherboards with ECC memory support.
Is there a better alternative to PCPartPicker for this kind of thing?

Asus boards have (working and confirmed) ECC support such as the X670E ProArt series, you can find several threads about these on the forums. The general recommendation I’d give you is to get a 8 PCB layer as that in general seems to have better signal integrity but it’s not necessary.

I would avoid ASRock Rack boards due to poor aftermarket support (BIOS/AGESA updates) etc and reported failure rates on the forums appears to be a bit concerning.

Not a good solution for finding out which support ECC but watching Wendell seems to be a pretty good source LoL. Just watch them all and take notes on each review.

Exactly what are you talking about?

Yep, this is the best source to look for AM5 motherboards.

Just FYI, you don’t need an Epyc for ECC. 7000 or 9000 series have ECC too. The only difference is some management features that are not relevant to desktop.
