Just realised that this is a whole mess of Software/hardware to deal with but was hoping someone had some experience with Airsonic across platforms.
I have a nice collection of music and I had been using Plex, but not a great fan of the interface and wanted to try Airsonic.
I recently set up Proxmox VE8 on a new server machine. I had a little trouble getting the Network Share going, but figured it out in the end. Now I have access to a location on the FreeNAS via a SMB share in Proxmox.
I am running Yacht on a Proxmox Ubuntu VM, and I wanted to provide a location on my Freenas which is on the same IP address range.
I do not know how to do this, I have googled but the answers have been somewhat lacking.
I just wondered whether anyone knew the correct way to configure the VM running Yacht to have access to the SMB share - and the correct way to point Airsonic at that share.
