AI PRO R9700 Idle Power Draw

Hi there,

I am just curious to know if anyone has any data about the idle power draw of this GPU (regardless of brand, I haven’t shortlisted any brand as of now). I have been looking for this information and haven’t been able to find it. So trying my luck here to see if anyone who owns this GPU can share some info.

I have two in my AI rig - a Sapphire and an Asrock. The Sapphire is plugged into a JetKVM.

With the clocks/power profile at “default”, the Sapphire idles at 4W, the Asrock idles at 1W.

With the power profile at “high” and the memory clocks at maximum, the Sapphire idles at 17W, the Asrock still at 1W.

Both fans stay at 18-19% when idling regardless of the profile.
