AI for Linux?

So... I was wondering if there was any form of AI available on Linux. I'm just curious. Its more of a gimmick then anything but hey...

Linux is an AI. It's just lazy…that's why it makes you figure out stuff on your own.

Also, Linux is very wise, and knows that in the long run, you'll be better off knowing stuff, than having Linux or other people do stuff for you.

I have seen a few on github, but only ever played with the chat bots. I like AI so now that this was brought up I'll proably spend the next few weeks wasting time with them again.

Well there is Mycroft but that's just an AI that runs on Linux. Although At one point they were talking about the making a desktop version that could work but I don't know how that's coming along.

Not Linux but still fun.

Here is Eliza that chat bot (specifically a natural language processing AI).

When you ask for AI on Linux, are you looking for anything in particular? AI can be applied to many fields but AI is not an application in itself.

Mycroft and Jasper can run on linux...

Something Google Now would be nice, something I can ask the weather, news, to run scripts, open programs, etc

I doubt if true A.I can be achieved with the current Von Neumann computer architecture, but you can have a lot of fun with Prolog or Lisp. Both of these languages can be found in the repository. There are of course other A.I languages.

Currently, in my view, only Numenta are on the right track towards true A.I. Their code is open source too.

You could always make one ya know :P

Looks like exactly what I was looking for. I'd be happy to,contribute what I can to Sirius.

Mycroft was recently funded on kickstarter so hopefully the desktop version will be worked and updates start coming out.
