Adapter To Operate Intel Mezzanine x8 Module with SIOM Connector in regular PCIe Slot?

Hi,

From the last time I built small SOHO Intel stuff I’ve found a few Intel-branded LSI 9200 HBAs with two SFF-8643 ports (Intel Integrated RAID Module RMS3JC080) in a Mezzanine form factor.

Has anyone here experiences with adapting such Mezzanine modules to use them in other systems with regular PCIe Slots (the module has a PCIe Gen3 x8 interface, would be nice to have the maximum bandwidth available)?

Thanks for your input!

(I wanted to check the LSI 9200 for the bugs I’ve encountered in the newer 9300 and 9400 chipsets but I sure as hell will never buy anything new from Broadcom again)
