just a quick question for wifi cards for Acer laptops
my trusty wifi card which is a Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN has finally died on me, getting dropped connection which my other HP laptops works fine. Updated drivers, no luck and casues BSOD which return a faulty wifi card
and i was wondering if this newer wifi card can be used on my old laptop? I do hear some companies have a whitelist to block other 3rd party wifi cards to be used
since its intel i think it will work but just to be sure

when i open up the bay cover to access the wifi card, i do see it only use 2 wires connected to the wireless card
will the wifi card still work without the use of the middle pin?
