Would a remote logout of all Google accounts on this phone bypass this security step?
The Situation
1.My friend bought a refurbished Note 5 with a faulty battery.
2.He returned the phone without removing any accounts or resetting the phone (he claimed he was not able to).
3.The retailer reset the phone and activated this security measure.
4.The retailer (who is mildly sketchy) wants my friend to give him his account information, which I stopped my friend from doing.
Before asking him for his login, the retailer asked my friend to remote logout of his google account. My friend claims to have done this, the seller says he has not. But I would like to know if that bypass this security measure in the first place. If not is there anyway to resolve this issue short of getting the phone shipped back to my friend and then resent to the seller.
