A Perfect Monitor for the 5090 Video Display port Question

I noticed in the video Wendell stated its impossible to buy DP80 cables from Amazon at the moment but watching a video from hardware unboxed they mentioned a seller silkland that sells VESA certified cables. I ordered a Silkland cable from Silkand seller on Amazon yesterday. Would this cable not cover the requirement: Silkland S1334 80Gbps DisplayPort Cable 2.1 2M [VESA Certified]

dunno. Amazon has sold other brands like ivanky which are “vesa certififed,” which did not pass on the cable tester we have (about 1 in 4 cables failed the others passed but the eye diagrams were borderline in at least one maybe 2 other cases)

the thing with the one from my video was that it was also super short to help minimize signal losses

it is true full size dp at2.1 is a thing but the “first” certified connector was actually minidp because of reflection issues

The reason I’m looking into this is my son got a 57" g9 neo Samsung monitor and its 240hz @ 7680x2160 resolution. He is using a 7900XTX red devil and has been causing driver timeouts in some games ever since he got it.
I had the same issue with my 7900xtx when I got an ultrawide and I bought a fibbr cable at the reccommendation from here and it fixed it.

fibbr don’t do dp80 cables, only dp40 so hence why I was searching for a dp80 cable as it looks like the one that came with the monitor is most likely not up to the task.

A big problem I found with amazon was fake sellers, I bought 2 club3d cables from different sellers and both where different looking and one looked much higher quality, when I did research I found one was a fake cable. This is why I was thinking the Silkland one coming directly from Silkland on Amazon might be a better option.
