How about studio monitors for those of us do don’t care much for headphones?

Keeping in mind that most people won’t have sound treatment, so speakers will perform worse than headphones due to standing waves and interference.

But those are some good performers in their price ranges in my opinion:

Budget Option: Presonus Eris 4.5
Midrange Option: JBL LSR305
Higher End: Adam T7, Yamaha HS8

If you’re on a budget I’d check the second hand market before resorting to Amazon.
