A-10 7300 apu on laptop memory upgrade

I have an Acer laptop with the a-10 7300 and I was wondering if putting any new ram over 1600 MHz spec is ok?

i'd focus on the capacity of the system instead of the speed as a lil bump won't do much i'd imagine

always a drag when you buy fast ram only to be limited by specs...

u already have plenty of ram

if your laptops sluggish i'd swap out the drive for a ssd

or at the very least do a wipe and start from scratch
