7970 refrence design benchmarks

I must say I do love the power draw of this card with the potential permorance increase in some games.

Sometimes I think Eric is doing some serious drugs!!

I'm planning on buying 2 of these cards on launch date but think I will wait for some non reference design benchmarks and see how these scale in crossfire.

My xfx 5770's Scale great in crossfire i get like a 45% boost when Crossfire is enabled. I hope these new cards scale better then the 6800 series cards do.

Hmm...I don't know...

15-40 percent better than a GTX 580 really makes me feel like Nvidia is going to come out with something much much better than this card when the 600 series comes out.

^ 700*-series. 600-series are OEM branded.

I think this card seems all round solid. Looks good to me. And Elric is aright, but his benchmarks are always a bit crap, have a look at guru3D

I sure will be getting one of these with my "Windows 8 Upgrade" !

The 6800 series scaled really well. I'm not sure we can ask much more from AMD.

I think I will too. I just hope they price them right.

This is my first post here, but I'm going to wait for a price drop. I'm sure it's going to go down to 450 at least.

Actually, looking at how the 5970 went, I am a lot less optimistic :(

The 5970 is a dual gpu card.
