I also prefer the Radeon 7950, it will also be compatible with Mantle when it comes out. Just make sure that you get an aftermarket cooler on it.

Yup I believe that there is one msi at my local microcenter store for $250.

Of the ones on newegg right now the HIS is the only one id getting and they are all getting pretty close  280x pricing. if you can get a nice  msi one a microcenter for 250 that could be worth it.

Yea it would be totally worth it and stuff, there's also a one that's opened box for $211. I'm not totally sure about that one though.
