7770 vs r9 270x or r9 280x

Hey guys, 

i was wondering if i should sell my 7770 to get a r9 270x or r9 280x, or maybe buy another 7770 and crossfire it .

just look for peoples advice. my range is around 300 dollars  if i should get something esle

Id say single 280x card would make sense. Having crossfire can be more hassle than its worth, not to mention stuff like cooling,space and power requirements.

For $300, you should be looking at the 280x, only.

ya definitely for $300 the 280x is your best bet. It offers great performance and you wont have to deal with the headache of crossfire.

Well of course, the higher end card will be the best.  The R9 280X is a great performer for the price.

alright i am going to sell my 7770 and buy a R9 280X viper . i wonder if it would be good for litecoin or litecoin based mining

Should be good for litecoin. At the very lest, it will handle ultra gaming at 1080p, probably 1440p too.

The 280x should be pretty good for litecoin, the newer hawaii gpus have a more limited open cl performance compared to tahiti. 1/4 for tahiti vs 1/8 for hawaii in double precision performance.

i just saw a chart  for it,  it gets around 760 kh/s which isn't that bad

Litecoin? I don't know if it's as efficient anymore, I would go with DigitalCoin or AsicCoin, as they are pretty low right now. Pretty easy to mine. And they keep going up.

thats what i most likely mine alt litecoin based coins, ill probability start using hashco.ws which automatic mines the most profitable coin every 10 minutes
