50 bucks over price, but if you get a slightly less awesome case for 20 bucks thats cool.

Also i got the g.skill sniper series because it's relatively cheap for 2133mhz, but if you wanna save 15 or so bucks grab whatever, majority of ram manufacturers make quality ram.

With the 7870ghz edition, you really honestly cant go wrong, that thing is a rapist, hence the name of the build. Look at the benchmarks for graphics cards everywhere, the radeon 7850/70/950/970's are just the top of the top for the price. You could save some bucks and get a 7850 but I wouldn't really recommend it.

the X4 II 965 BE is pretty much built for overclocking, you could easily get it to over 4ghz. Not to mention it's quad-core.

For the storage, I prefer HDD's instead of SSD's, your call though, grab whatever, I recommend Seagate and Western digital though.

For the PSU, I took a pretty cheapish PSU but nonetheless it's quality, always get 80+ certified PSU's. Always. Never skimp on quality for PSU's.

For the MOBO, I got the cheapest mobo I could find that is cool with overclocking and crossfire and etc.

This is an overclocking build, but if you don't plan on overclocking at all, change the motherboard and the cpu and the fan, cpu to an i3/fx8150, and the motherboard to whatever, really. For the fan, you don't even need one, stock fan will suffice if you're not overclocking.

Have fun!

EDIT: i forgot about the optical drive, grab whatever's cheapest, doesn't matter, but if you want a blu-ray, imm not suree, i'd still grab the cheapest though
