If I were to download the os on my hdd could I move it to an ssd (i am buying a disk) later because all the ssd's are out of my price range at the moment. If you can give me feedback or a decent ssd for under $60 it'd be much appreciated
You should change the name to $60 SSD and move it to the storage section to get help.
To be honest the easiest way would be to just reinstall the OS when you can afford an SSD. As long as you keep the key (assuming you're using Windows), than a simple reinstallation to a different boot media shouldn't give you any issues.
