4K 65"+ Freesync display?

Friend’s TV got knocked over, screen cracked. Wants to replace it with something good, I said that TVs aren’t my wheelhouse but I could ask around.

He’s a console gamer, has everything from the SNES onward connected to the TV.

Budget $2200

Samsung has some qled 4K freesync TV models.
