What is better 4790k or 8350?
I like to upgrade in the future, but like to keep some parts I have.
I do home video rendering and play runescape.
I also surf the internet and stream 1080p videos.
I like to run more than one software say playing games and listening to music or having a video play in the background.
Honestly if you want more performance overall the 4790k will do you "Great Justice" but if you are on a Budget the 8350 will be just fine. Thing AMD always have over intel is they have a product for every Budget Margin it's almost insane. you want an absurd CPU for the money the 8350 will do you fine. you need a CPU for that Budget PC, A $90 Ahtlon X4 860k exists lol. but in your case i'd just grab the 4790k you'll be fine good sir.

it renders allot better then a FX8350 realy. especialy in adobe premiere.

Invest a little more and go with the 4790k . . . . it's just better.
Hmm... if you out can afford a 4790 just save up an extra $150 or so and snag a 5820k. If you're tight on money snag the 8350. If you're into streaming it's actually better than the i7.

Sorry ratzzz, I was talking about a typo, I put 9047k and not 4790k.
Easy, 4790k is the way to go. Its much newer and will therefore be much more worthy of future upgrades. The FX8350 is a great processor that many of us will never forget but it hasn't changed since 2012 and neither has its AM3+ socket. At this point in time and what your looking to do, the 4790k wiuld be a great choice.

I had an amd fx 6300 and upgraded to an intel i7-4790k and it is an absolute boss.
