I know this will not happen I am just talking about what ifs.
If Intel released a i3-3370k at around $150-160 would this replace the hugely popular 3570k in most peoples build? With most games not taking advantage of multiple cores it seems like it would perform just as well as the 3570k.
maybe for budget builds, but most people will probably stay with the 3570K due to the fact it could multitask better, and also becuase games are starting to implement using 4 cores.

Media center applications it would be awesome though. OC to 4.6 and make it snappy, for cheap.
the entire reason there are no K chips in the i3 series is to sell the more expensive i5 and i7 chips, and with that it will never happen
