Was a shame to see the PCIe slot would not work with the NVidia or AMD cards he tried the other day, but he’s still trying stuff (for our benefit )

I am not, but it’s good to know about this option (the Broadcom BCM2711 SoC is of course made for networking gear!)
Yeah, he didn’t get the full theoretical throughput, and jokes at his click-bait title. I think he may have been saturating the PCIe Gen2 x1 interface, although perhaps further optimizations could be made at the OS level.
I like the stuff he’s been doing with his compute module and the plug-in infterface board.
