2D low-spec games recommendations

Lets make a list of awsome old games that run on low-spec laptops and old pc's. My integrated 9000m nvidia graphic have gone seriousley wrong on my laptop so i am forced to play old 2d game, and i am running out of ideaswhat to 'find' to play

 

ps: i saw the retro gaming section but i dont think this falls under it, despite people mentioning some of this games in posts, and deus ex being an 'retro game'? Can dream about running that with my shit.

Where as I would reccommend some of these games, others in the list are simply there due to popularity.

If you don't think any of those take your fancey take a look in the Indie section of Steam. Most games there don't require high specs.

actually bastion needs some reletivly high specs, that laptop probably can't play it

Meh i dont really fancy indy games, all are plain to simple, i like real big complex games, but i guess they have to be old due to my weak graphic..

I tried terraria before and it LAGS ;)

Battle for Wesnoth!  Great game and it will run on anything, plus its free.
