So I ended up purchasing a 2025 Outback, mainly to help transport myself and my father to appointments and such.
My old Legacy got traded in but man I miss the 6 CD Audio Changer.
I noticed the media center has some USB jacks down below and I know it supports Bluetooth.
Has anybody tried this along with your Android device as a media player ?
There is both a USB-C and a USB-A port connector, have to confirm the speeds first but I suspect Gen3 for the USB-C port and GEN2 for the USB-A port.
Rip your entire CD collection to a low-profile USB flash stick and enjoy!
Android device can work separately ether through Bluetooth or through Android Auto.
I was thinking that same thing but wasn’t really sure that a USB pen drive would work

I’ve put a new radio in an old car. One designed to look exactly like the older style radios. It has BT and just snagged an old android phone, filled it with MP3s and hit the shuffle button on VNC(for android). I love the solution but I do not enjoy the mix of MP3s that I have. Some were made at different quality and volume settings. I have been revamping my MP3 collection with better quality and normalized audio settings, so it’s not all bad.
