2 older gpu's or 1 new gpu

Would it be smarter to buy 1 300$ gpu or to buy 2 older 150$ gpu's and sli them?.

  • less power
  • more reliable performance
  • you can sli you good single gpu in the future
  • you don't rely on drivers for resonable framereates in games

Yea sell your GPU while is is worth somthing.  Use the money to aid in the purchace of a better GPU.

Higher fps with SLI or CrossFire can be deceiving. Framerate increase but so do input lag - it takes longer to see your movements on the screen.
