1440p Monitor recommendations?

News flash all your things spend months shipping across the ocean, usually from China.

@charlesmarsh Yeah don't worry they are just having a go at me because I called them out on multiple cases of bad advice.

Also for all concerned the TekSyndicate 1440p Korean Monitor Club https://teksyndicate.com/news/2013/08/15/tek-syndicate-1440p-monitor-club

In case anyone was worried about the quality.

You mean two days, right?

The large korean monitor sellers (accessorieswhole, dreamseller, and green-sum) ship incredibly quickly and will arrive within 2-3 days from korea.

Mine OC'd to 96hz nicely. I paid $310 USD for a pixel perfect matte Qnix QX2710 and I'm totally happy.

However, it is important to note that the QX2710(most known in glossy so far) is using a slightly cheaper panel and pwm dimming. At lower brightnesses this can sometimes be tiring depending on your eyes and preference. I always keep mine at max brightness so it's not really an issue for me.

It's probably over your budget, but if I was buying a 1440p panel today I would go for a CROSSOVER 32" BLACKTUNE 32X2-P. It has an AU-Optronics A-MVA panel with the nice 3000:1 contrast ratio. You can find them on ebay for around 400 pound sterling. And yah, 32 inch beast. Actually has a ok stand and decent inputs. PWM Dimming/Flicker free, good colour presets and well balanced overdrive (no terrible ghosting).
