Check out the Monoprice tripods. I have 2 now and love both of them. Logan did a video about them if you want to see more on them.
Pan/tilt or ballhead?
Height?
Portable? (travel weight/size)
Does it need to be uber-stable for things like time-lapse?
I will be using it for reviews and I stand 5' 11 so I think the tripod should be somewhere near my height. I font want a ball head because it will be used for video. It does not need to be extreme stable but stabe enough that it won't be noticeable in a 10 minute video.
Are there any specific tripods you can suggest?

Ok, so you're doing video work?
You may want something with a drag-head and look more for a video tripod specifically since they can usually handle a lot of weight without a problem.
(just an example... though it does seem to have good reviews)
