Problem:
My devices are getting disconnected every few seconds.
Monitor stays on the same selection, however keyboard and mouse are disconnected. I see HID disconnection events in my dmesg and journalctl -xe
Things have been working fine up until recently. I thought it might be a system update, but it’s happening on all the devices that are attached. I have tried powering off/unplugging the entire unit (and all cables), the behavior restarts as soon as everything comes back online. The cables are the same cables that have been in use without issue for over 12 months. I thought it might be a power/grounding issue, but all devices are on the same PDU with UPS for 12+ months.
Happy Monday! - Any troubleshooting steps or debugging of the device that I can do? I have had this device since 2023.

System A: MSI B450 (Anker Cable USBC-USBC)
System B: Dell Laptop PC14250 on a WD22TB4 dock (Anker Cable USBC-USBC)
System C: Ace Magic N3A (Anker Cable USBC-USBA)
System D: various laptops as I repair them with (No display port, only KB/M, Anker Cable USBC-USBA) < – this is the biggest variable, but it’s been 90+ days since having any fourth station online.
