FYI since some of you have been waiting for this.
I also checked on the june leadership meeting (YT channel OpenZFS) because they were discussing Direct IO (aka making ZFS ready for pure NVMe pools). Looks like they face some deeply rooted troubles and we probably can’t expect it to be ready for release any time soon.
But I still have hopes for RAIDZ-expansion for 2.2 later this year.
But all of this won’t help, if the DKMS doesn’t like your bleeding-edge kernel in the first place
Yeah, I’m definitely waiting for the nvme improvements well.
