Zalman VE300 ISO files non selctable

I have just bought a VE300 and I can not get the file that Logan got in his vid of the product.

What I have displayed on the LCD is " 1st Partition : 27". I can not find this code on Zalman's website to fix this issue. Was wondering if anyone could help with the problem

cheers

I created an ISO directory to put my ISOs in and it worked fine for me.

same here don't know what the issue is :/

This may be silly, but have you tried reformatting the drive in your operating system?

yeah I have but that didn't work either :( I did just pull it of my laptop and start using it though. It still had a full system on it. Will that have anything to do with it??

It could have been an issue. Some operating systems create different partitions and/or system/boot loaders and that could cause the Zalman drive to not work correctly. Partitioning and formatting in Windows disk manager should clean up that.

Right I tried that and I have still got the message "1st Partition : 27". Is it maybe because I'm not putting the iso files in correctly??

any tutorials you recommend, not too sure what I am doing to be honest :/

I would try removing the drive from the enclosure and attaching it to the system. Then using Windows Disk Management to delete all of the partitions, then create one partition the full size of the drive and then formatting. A quick format would be good enough, no need to do the full format. Then you will be starting with a fresh drive back into the Zalman enclosure. If that doesn't work, I wonder if the Zalman is defective or maybe you have a corrupted ISO. Also, how many gigabytes is the drive? Have you checked out YouTube to see if there are any tutorials? This one seems good : http://youtu.be/zKSFDXOlEww

Near the end (around 12:30) he has the same message on his unit. It seems to have something to do with write protect. I didn't watch the whole thing (I am at work). I hope it can help you. Let me know.
