Which Z87 board has the most SATA ports that is now currently available or X79?

There are pci express adapters

most highend Z87 boards come with 10 sata ports, like the Asus maximus VI Extreme or the Msi Xpower.

But Asrock has a cheaper lower end board with also 10 sata ports the Z87 Extreme 6. but i have no idea how about the quality of it ☺

you would be better off buying a raid control card at that price point and building an array in my opinion
