My suggestion was merely for the average homlabber who just built a gaming computer or workstation using probably a gray market key and doesn’t want to create a Microsoft account. Obviously, if you’re doing them in mass or in bulk, there’s easier ways.
My method required zero knowledge of command prompt or how to do anything and doesn’t require modifying the original ISO using any bootloader tool or scripting.

Yes this is most likely the case. Microsoft has been very aggressive wrestling the controls out of the users hands on Windows 11.
Also do not forget that google has an interest in you using an online account in windows. This is because it serves google indirectly by normalizing the use of online accounts.
Users with online accounts are obviously easier to track, particularly device accounts.
The removal of these videos benefits google long term even though microsoft and google are separate companies. Microsoft has a very large user base and therefor great social impact - thus worth pursuing.
Google is a data collection company.
