I would just like to see people's thoughts about this build, and maybe what they would change about it. Compare it to my current build and maybe give me feedback as to how well this system should perform! Thank you all -Cody

EDIT: also note that I will be merging some of my existing parts with this one, for instance a HDD, I threw an SSD in there for my games and OS.
i would change only one thing in that build and that is the Motherboard. the 970 Chipset is fairly old, and is actually made for the 6-Core and not the 8-Cores. i would choose a 990FX Chipset board.
Why thank you my good sir! I mean, do you think I could get similar performance if I stuck with the old board and got a 6 core instead of the 8 core? I am trying to keep it somewhat cheep. Also, do you think I could play games like Skyrim with lots of mods, and a decent ENB? If you don't mind answering of course.
Cheaper CPU. This one's just lower clocked, and can be easily overclocked to a FX-8350's stock clock speed.
Better motherboard.
Cheaper RAM, cheaper GPU, better quality power supply. Went with a windowed case, but you can choose whatever case you want as long as it can fit the Hyper 212.
Thank you very much Sir! I was fiddling around with another build, but I think I want an 8 core, and I am going to step the GPU up to a 280x, better performance and why not. What do you think of this other build? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LvmvYJ
Also, that build is very nice, I think I will choose a different case however, and maybe different memory. I want to keep it down as much as I can!
If you jumped from back to a 6-Core, you're going to see a minor decrease in performance compared to the 8-Core. in "Real World" Performance you aren't going to notice a difference, unless you stare at FPS counters all day. personally i would stick with the 8-Core. but if you wish to save a tiny bit more money, you can jump on AMD's FM2+ Platform, it's AMD's much more recent platform. the tiny bit of money saved can go on your GPU.
here's what it will look like with the FM2+ Build.

here's how i'd fix your 8-core build.

and here's a 6-core build. but there will be a bit a minor bottleneck.

but these are just my personal recommendations feel free to edit and modify them to your hearts content, but if you don't want to deal with some of the minor complications, i personally would just grab a 990FX board instead of a 970 Chipset in your original build. =]
I agree with previous statements 970 is a no go for the 8350 it will just barely limp along at stock clocks and overclocking is a fire waiting to happen. I would also like to add i ran my 6350 with a 7970 (280x) until that card burnt out, it's a great balance between the two it's about the best graphics card to pair with the processor without bottlenecking.
I really do appreciate the help! I am just wondering how bad the bottleneck will be, like will I really need to maybe invest in a better cooling solution for the 6 core so that I can get that extra performance out of my GPU? Also, I think that I am going with the 6 core and 290. And maybe later on in the future I can just grab a new 990FX board and 8 core and have a pretty sweet set up! once again, thank you!
