I've always been privy to the ATH-M50's myself. There's also the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros. Very similar in sound. Custom Ones give you the ability to adjust the Bass on the fly and are a bit more comfortable, ATH M50s are more easily transported and have more detailed sound IMO

and the headphones are great for what you want to do
you'll be amazed how good they sound next to the beats and skull-candy
i have a few buddies that dj for radio stations that try buying them off me lol
i personally mix a bit, no i will not share.
ps. i sampled your music with my set it sounds fine
also they do burn in just let them play over night the first night you have them
