You tell me:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xSRi VS. http://store.apple.com/us_smb_78313/cart

Get the PC. A Mac with the same specs as your build would cost a sh*t ton more.

You can't link to a shopping cart.  But seeing as its apple, I conclude that it is a $3000 computer. If you are asking why would someone buy it? For the OS. Alot of people like OSX. Other than that there is the way apple products look, but thats about where it ends.

From what I know about $3000 apple computers (no much) I suspect that the PC will outperform it in every way. But even with the PC you are not spending the money in any of the right places. $600 on a 60hz 27" 1440p display? You could get like tri-ssd in raid 0 for that. And then some!

Ya... the PC will likly perform better, but that build probably wasts as much money as the apple computer.

I dont think he is looking for a build config, hes just laughng at apple.

The Mac was completely upgraded, but with inferior products (a 680M 2GB, compared to the 4GB 680). Linking to the cart worked on my desktop and netbook, but I suppose I am on the same network. Also, tri-SSD RAID for $600 will get you about 6-700GB of SSD, but I would rather get a monitor than half a TB of SSD, seeing as I already have enough SSD for my games and Linux. In a perfect world, everyone would have RAIDed SSDs and 30" 2560x1600 monitors, but...
