Xperia Z3 : Self cracking screen issue?

After a decade of using a old  NOKIA i decided to join the smartphone world with a Xperia Z3, and, while i was searching for a good protective case i came across some negative feedback by old and new Z, Z1, Z2 and Z3 users that claim after some use the screen cracks by itself :\
If its true, that means the materials SONY used are cheap and have a expansion/contraction problem.
The glass expands when the device is overheated or the metal/aluminum frame contracts in cold weather (or water cause its water resistant.).

Are there any Sony Xperia Z users here that have/had this problem or want to shed some light on this subject ?`Cause i'm still on the fence for this model. Thank you. :)

i have had a sony xperia z1 for about a year, and my screen has only cracked on 2 occasions, first time i dropped it on the corner of the bedside table, and the other time on the edge of a wooden seat, although people have problems hearing me on it in a call and i have problems hearing people without speakerphone... but the z2 and z3 where suppose to have fixed that, i hope i have helped, and im not sure if they have fixed the problems or not. another problem is the touchscreen is glitchy.

Z3 Compact owner here.

Luckily no self cracking on my device. Build quality seems more than decent and although I dropped it hard a few times no cracks in the glass, just a little scratch on the polycarbonate frame.

I don't have a Z3 myself, however I recently cracked the screen on my Huawei P7, and as I was at the repair shop, a man reported the exact same problem with his Z3, however his phone was not used once, he bought it, put it away, later opened it and found that the glass had cracked. It was not a factory fault, as when he bought it it was in ideal condition.

Thank you all (again)  for the info :)
I decided to skip this one of the list.
Cheers.
