I am currently investing into a custom water cooling setup for my computer but have yet to be successful in finding a full cover water block for my card as it is apparently a non-reference design with no support that I could find(XFX R9 280X DD)
Does anyone have know of an existing or upcoming waterblock for it that maintains good aesthetics .
what specific card is it? I know when i was looking to watercool i had a nightmare of a time trying to fins a block for my HIS ice Q X2 280x
Its not a waterblock but you could look into the NZXT G10.Its a bracket that you fix onto the GPU and use any Asetek AIO liquid coolers(X40,H80 etc etc)

If you are going to do a custom loop where you are cooling the GPU its easier to find blocks if its a reference model.
Yes I know this but I assumed my card was reference before researching it
I know of the G10 but like the aesthetics of a loop better
XFX R9 280X DD XFX only have 2 versions of the card which both use the same board under the name XFX R9 280X
The board is also different to their last generation offerings
You should check out the aquagATIx series from "Aqua Computer" (MADE IN GERMANY)
You can use a universal gpu water block
All the fullcover blocks appear to be reference only
I don't think that you're going to be successful in finding a decent full-cover-Waterblock because no manufacturer with a right mind would produce a Waterblock specially for that one model of a graphics-card unless it would be an über-expensive-industrial-solution.
