Hey guys as my title says I believe I am having driver problems:o I just cleanly formated my pc for the reason above. This time I tried the latest catalyst and it seems to be doing the same thing over so:
The problem: Randomly get the display driver stopped responding:o This is within 20 min after a fresh format. Prior to this it would crash my system and I would have to force reboot, I noticed it used to happen when I would go full screen on youtube:o now it gave me this error but didnt crash my pc. any solutions? running an asrockz77 extreme4 mobo and an i5 3570k nothing is overclocked
is there no1 with similar problems?:/ I am wondering if it might need something with bios ?bump?:p
I had this same problem but with my 9800GT. I just removed the card and the problem disappeared. Sent it for RMA.
I am not saying you've got the same problem. It could be something with the drivers. But in my case, I tried going back to old drivers and a lot of other solutions that I looked for on the web. Nothing worked. My GPU was the problem.
The easiest way to save a lot of time is remove card, run onboard graphics and see if the same error occurs again (assuming that you have tried driver change or reverting to older drivers already. If not, do so and see how it goes).
