XFX 7850, buzzing (coil whine) gets really bad, then crash

I bought an XFX 7850 about a month ago, for the time I've had it it's been making some fairly annoying buzzing sounds when under load, the higher the load, the louder the buzzing, which would lead me to assume it's coil whine. Recently I discovered in GW2 if I use a certain skill (the Guardian's underwater Spear Wall if you know what that is) and the camera gets close enough to the skill's graphic effects, the buzzing gets really loud and then the buzzing turns into these really slow clicks, then comes the crash. The computer stays on, but the GPU just seems to fail. So far, the scenario explained above is the only time I've seen it happen, but it happens everytime the scenario comes up. I reset the clocks to stock and even lowered the voltage, but it didn't seem to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My other specs if it helps:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 4.0GHz
RAM: G.SkILL Sniper Series 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W
MOBO: ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ 6Gb/s ATX

looks like a bad card. are you still under warranty?

I had two of them in crossfire, they didnt like being overclocked past the default by much, even after increasing the voltage and would usually stop the display driver from responding.

if you still get it at stock then try underclocking by about 10 to 20mhz

sounds like overclocking may have done some damage to me.
