Xbox 360 S Hardware Recycling

I have finally switched to PC gaming! Its great and all, but it leaves one box behind... my Xbox 360 S. So does anybody know what to do with it? I was thinking about taking an old LCD screen and hooking it up to the side. Possibly flashing the OS and putting Linux on it. I just don't want to take a sledge hammer to it until its broken.

Flashing the OS to Linux takes a lot of work, and hardware modifications. Also those who have successfully run Linux on the Xboxes have not been able to succeed with much stability. They can only run on 1of the 3 CPU cores, and the only graphics driver they have made is very primitive and doesn't function fully.

You can check out this project http://www.free60.org/Main_Page, but I think it has been abandoned.

put an ITX board in it?

I think I might flash XBMC on it http://xbmc.org/about/ . It can't be, too hard.

So I cheated a little but it worked. Thanks "IIIGamebrakrIII" for the Free60 stuff. I used that to boot into Ubuntu while removing almost everything in Ubuntu. I then downloaded xbmc for Ubuntu and set it as a start program.
