X570 Chipset Driver

So, as far as drivers are concerned, do we only install the chipsets provided by the motherboard manufacturer, or can we install the latest chipset driver version from AMD’s own website?

Gigabyte’s website says ver. 2‎.09.28.509 for X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI, but, AMD’s website says 2.10.13.408.

Are there validations that needs to happen before Gigabyte officially offers the latest chipset driver from AMD? Or can I just install the ones from AMD straight away?

If you mean Windows, then I usually used newer AMD versions instead Gigabyte’s. But it was with X370, as I don’t use Win on bare metal anymore.

Do system restore snapshot, and check it out, if something doesn’t work then just roll back.

Using the AMD provided chipset driver is likely preferrable. Manufacturers are typically slow at pushing out updates on their end.

I’ve only ever used the ones provided by AMD

I only used the ones from AMD. They are more updated.
