X470 and Sense MI with Linux?

I noticed that @wendell didn’t mention in his recent video for dual NVME raid-0 on x470, if AMD Sense MI had any support under Linux.

I do know it’s kinda of stupid because of all the software solutions offered under Linux… But I have thought it might be fun to mess around with AMD’s Sense MI version of Optane caching and an SSD/HDD on a Linux box.

Wendell did mentioned a linux video on it’s way for the storage tiering including open source alternatives.

He also mentioned that the “pay version” of the software does support linux
let us be patient

It’s funny if you think about it. You pay for a motherboard and included is all this software that if you choose linux over windows doesn’t work. So in the end you throw 1/4 of the price out of the window while purchasing a mobo.
