I would suggest to put a target price in the OP.
The price is pretty negotiable so I haven't listed it. I'd rather work the deal out with whoever steps forward. As what I'm looking for not a water cooled card. This is this guy's first budget gaming pc so he needs just something stock.
He said he should have the stock cooler still so could reattach it...
would a sane person buy 290x with a reference cooler ?

Well he never messaged me about it. Plus I'm not really looking for a stock cooler 290x. Especially one that he would have to reassemble. If the price was really low on the card with the stock cooler then yeah. But I bet he wouldn't have wanted to go as low as I would have offered.

Hey thanks for the reply. I'll have to check acceptable dimensions for the card being as large as it is. If so It'll be a while before we can actually do the deal. As I'm doing this for him well in advance as things like this take a lot of time.
Now that's funny, but hey It's not as bad when you have headphones on. I've done some crazy loud jerry rigged stuff in my past.
