Would you go for an FX 4350 or Phenom II X4 965?

I've seen people posting builds recently and some have chosen a Phenom II X4 965 as their cpu of choice.  What do you guys think, is it a better choice for these people to go with the most recent generation of FX processors or go for a cpu that is a good choice, but is aging?

Rule of thumb stay away from FX4xxx get a FX6xxx and above FX4xxx chips are 2 core chips and the per core performance is not much better than the Phenom II X4 965 (if fact it beats most them hands down)

Phenom II X4 965 (4core's can clock up to 4Ghz)

FX 4xxx (2 core's) (2 logical cores per physical)

The FX6300 is the same price as the FX4350 that's what you whant to consider buying
