You can use that motherboard, it is not preferable. Other than that, it's a pretty good gaming PC. It will certainly run BF4 on ultra at 1080p, and many other games on ultra. DayZ is an unfinished product, so I don't know what performance improvements we will see in that game. You will be able to play DayZ, I'm just unsure of the settings.
This is quite similar to the builds from yesterday. The GTX 760 is a faster performing card than the R9 270.

The pcpartspicker link you provided seems to be more than adequate for playing the games you described @1080P. I myself have a GTX760 2gb and run those games quite fine but I'd suggest spending the extra 100 bucks if you can afford it for the GTX 770 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp42771kr as it will boost your frame rate a fair bit at 1080p and make your new pc a little bit more "future proof" especially as you will only be able to run 1 gpu on that mobo.
