Would this be good for gaming?

This is my first attempt at building a PC and I was wondering if the build that I have planned out is any good. My only goal is to stay around a grand plus a monitor. I mainly want to use it for gaming.

Thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it.

That is a pretty nice system! There is almost nothing to change except the PSU, for $55 you can get one of these instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9 Stronger 12v rail, a 5 year warranty as well as 80 plus bronze all for the same price as your Neo 520.

That is really about it, it is a pretty solid system and it will do very well. You did good on the list!

I would recommand getting the fx-8350. It is a little bit cheaper on amazon and it out performs the 3570k in a lot of games. And i dont know if you plan on overclocking anything but if you do i would also recommand getting a 600-650w power supply.

Do you have a specific one that you would recommend. And why fx-8350?

I would recommand getting the Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt power supply. And the fx-8350 has better benchmark scores then the 3570k.
