Would rainmeter drive space polling prevent drives from going to sleep?

Just wondering if it would do this.

Unless you’re using a WD green (which they don’t make anymore), the drive shouldn’t park the r/w head and go to sleep.

I’m not sure, but I believe that Rainmeter only reads the SMART data from the drive, which is on the controller and doesn’t actually spin up the disk.
