Would like some input

hey what's going on everyone, i'm looking in to a new pc going to be with X99, but would like some input on it. here's the parts list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/YOUNGJ2525/saved/z63gXL .

just to let you all know i have most of the parts in my current build. really just look for a CPU, MOBO and ram, but feel free to change what you would like.

don't want to spend more then $1,000 on the 3 parts.

I would probably go Z97 at this budget, unless you REALLY need the extra 2 cores.

I would go with a cheaper power supply because you aren't gonna need 750W for this system unless you plan to run dual GPU. And use that money to buy a stronger GPU because you can do better than a 760 in this pricerange. If you want you could also use a cheaper motherboard, so I came up witht this:

I chose the 770 for this one but the 280x from AMD is also great value, if you wanna go with that.

I already have most of the in the pic right now. I just upgrading from a am3+ to x99 I just need the mobo, cup and ram. I have the video card, psu,  case and cooler. I just don't want to spend more then $1,000 on the 3 parts

If the PSU you have is more than 4 years old ... recommend a new one for the X99 build

XFX XTR 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular .......... $70

Would recommend using a 4x4GB configuration to take advantage of Quad channel support

G.Skill Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 (Red) ........ $270

If you do not need a new PSU ... even with the extra ram ...you are still within budget.

Why not throw a monster GPU at you current system?

what do you plan on doing with your PC?

A lot of rendering, edit, gaming and streaming.

The psu I have is not even a year old yet. So I may just get more ram

then definitely want to fill four ram slots

good to go there then

next upgrade will be a killer GPU or two then?

Yup going to wait for the 900 series to drop and see what's good there

I'm jealous ...  lol
