Hi again, getting a 5600 delivered soon and my current ram is 16gb kit of 2666mhz cl 16 ram just wondering if its worth upgrading to a kit of 3600mhz cl16 ram or not.
If you learn to manually overclock the RAM and have tighter timings, you can certainly squeeze some performance especially if you can reach the ideal 3800MHz speed but not really a whole lot.
Unfortunately you are constrained by the quality of the RAM chipset and the quality/capability of your motherboard.

Just like Regulareel said try to overclock your RAM, find out the IC manufacturer to get an idea on how well it’s gonna overclock.
The easy route is surely buying a new kit that’s already been tested. No shame in taking it, obviously.
