Worth The Upgrade? - MSI A88XI-AC From ASRock FM2A85X-ITX

I've been lingering over an upgrade for a while now on for my FM2A85X-ITX motherboard. I've decided to go for the MSI A88XI-AC to fix the fan control issues from my ASRock board. The features of the board and the UEFI look great especially with the fan control and design.

So to the question, is this board worth the upgrade and does anyone endorse it?

Also, I have some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste in the basket to re-apply on the upgrade. Is it good stuff?

It would be cheaper to purchase an actual fan controller. I don't think it is worth upgrading the entire motherboard.
