Currently I have ram that runs at 1600 MHz (dual channel), and I was thinking of replacing it with the same amount of 2400 MHz, However this will cost me 150 dollars. Is the extra clock speed worth it, or is the difference not that noticable?
Short answer: No. Put the $150 towards something you need, rather than something thats nice to have.
no you will not notice a difference and for a $150 there are other things that you could upgrade that would make your computer much faster for that price.
