Workstation and Gaming Build help

Hello. I'm new to building a PC and I need some help picking the right parts. My max budget, including the monitor(s), keyboard, and mouse, is $3000 U.S. I'd be using this rig mostly for applications like Adobe premier, Vocaloid, Fl Studio, Cubase, MMD, other 3D modeling software, and some triple AAA games. I've come up with some part lists already and I'd like you to see if they are okay for all of this:

The intel 6 core will be way faster than anything else in your applications, and with the noctua cooler you can also give it a nice overclock. The r9 290x are only 10% slower in games ,but cost 200 $ less, they are also in most application ,that support gpu computing, faster than a 980.You could also think about getting the 8gig versoin if that would help with your applications.
