Working station

Hey guys, I'm trying to a build a PC for my parents with a budget of 700euro. They mainly use it for productivity purposes like office, some photoshop, powerpoints and etc. Basically I wanted to create a relatively small but powerful PC with at least 1TB of storage, 8GBs of ram, best possible processing power and with the BitFenix case which i really like :)

I came up with this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2CecM

Any comments or feedback would be very appreciated, thanks :)

I don't understand why they need an i7 for office stuff, maybe a cheaper cpu would work better. I would use the money you spent on that to get a small SSD for caching

I agree, spending out on an i7 is practically pointless for those what the PC is going to be used for.

I would say swap that out for a mid to high range i5, something like the i5-4570 will do fine I'm sure. Also, for that little edge, change the 1333Mhz ram for some 1600Mhz. That coupled with an SSD for caching, it'll be a good little machine.

Just a couple of things to think about though: Have you got an operating system sorted out? What about peripherals?

thanks for the feedback guys. Yes, operating system and peripherals are already sorted out.

I'd go more this way: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2CnO6 you have a good motherboard with wifi onboard, an I5 and the noctua cooler to keep the whole thing super quiet,.
